Last week I visited Bubbles Center for Autism and met a dear friend Sarbani, who founded the organization and is leading it with passion. Spent the whole day there and what I realized there is this:
It’s a different world!
Of laughter and cries,
Of love and firmness;
Of reward and discipline;
Of hope for a better future for one and all;
Of unconditional giving and patience;
Of compassion and passion;
Of mine, yours and ours;
A world with no ‘right and wrong’ rules;
Where two plus two may not be four;
Where there is no assessment and judgement.
It’s a world of trial and error;
Of learning while doing;
Of learning one thing at a time – step by step without force or comparison.
It’s a different world where you are welcome with open heart, open arms, open mind – of ours and yours.
